The largest annual event is our school Sports Day. This day is set aside from the normal school timetable, usually at the end of June. This has now developed from an afternoon athletics championships into a full day of athletics and other fun activities. The whole range of athletic events are covered in the morning sessions, followed by 7-aside competitions for all years in the afternoon. The aim of the day is to provide something entirely different with all the years and staff working together to create a 'fun' atmosphere with the availability of barbecued hamburgers and novelty events which include console games, wet sponge, darts, horse shoe throwing, hit the spot, roll-a-penny, tombola and many more.
All money made on the carnival is donated to the Zambia Appeal. The purpose of this is to raise money to enable the Christian Brothers working in Zambia to carry out their work. All 1st years will be encouraged to do their part.

A school anual swimming gala takes place at the Whiterock Leisure Centre and various competitions are held for all years.
Hurling and Football Competitions are held for First Year Pupils throughout the year.
There is also the chance to get away from school on various trips. In previous years pupils went Skiing in Romania, competed in a Young Enterprise Competition in Holland and visited the Birthplace of Edmund Rice in Callan. Annual field trips are also held. These include a trip to Drumalla House, Delamont Outdoor Pursuits Centre and a visit to the Armagh Planetarium.
