The C S Lewis Trail in Belfast and North Down

Tours

The C S LEWIS TRAIL links the main places in Belfast and North Down closely associated with Lewis.

Three core sites may be visited during a pleasant morning's stroll. For the others, a motor car would be a convenient mode of transport, although C S Lewis would certainly approve of those who cycle around the Trail!

WALKING

ST MARK'S, then via Sydenham Avenue to LITTLE LEA, then to BERNAGH, return to ST MARK'S the same way. Allow 1 hr 30 mins, including 30 mins to see St. Mark's.

BY CAR

By car, all the main sites can, with determination, be visited in a single afternoon. e.g. ST MARK'S, LITTLE LEA, BERNAGH, then to Crawfordsburn, THE OLD INN, SILVER HILL, ST JOHN'S, return to Belfast via Craigantlet over the Holywood Hills, CAMPBELL COLLEGE and finally DUNDELA VILLAS (now Flats).

INFORMATION

St Mark's Church will be open to the public in the months of June, July and August, each Wednesday and Saturday (11am to 4pm) and each Sunday (2pm to 5pm).
