The C S Lewis Trail in Belfast and North Down

DUNDELA VILLAS

C S Lewis was born in one of a pair of semi-detached houses, together called DUNDELA VILLAS.

The Villas were demolished in 1952. A local resident created from memory the painting below, to show Dundela Villas as they were when C S Lewis was born there.

Dundela Flats were then built where the Villas had stood. The photograph below shows the site today. Dundela Flats is the building on the far left.
