Who We Are

Brooklands Gospel Centre is a fundamental Bible Believing church allied to Christian Brethren Assemblies. There are approximately 100 people in fellowship and the church runs a wide variety of activities throughout the week for all ages.

Where are We

We are located within the large Ballybeen Housing Estate in Dundonald, an eastern suburb of the city of Belfast in Northern Ireland. In the immediate vicinity, there are aprroximately 2000 dwellings from single storey old peoples dwellings to multi-storey apartment blocks for families and young people. Surrounding the estate are numerous private housing developments which are expanding all the time. Most people who work, commute into Belfast each day. The main employer in Dundonald itself has recently announced it's closure.

The members of Brooklands come from this broad social mix and mostly live within the estate or on the periphery of it. Our aim is to share the good news of salvation to all who live in the area.

Brooklands was formed in 1969, the first building being a wooden hut on the present site. In 1975 it was extended to incorporate a building for the youth work. The wooden hut was replaced in 1988 with a multi-purpose building incorporating the main church, classrooms, anti-rooms and a library area (still to be completed).
