Black Hole - Computer Space Observatory
3C273
Quasar 3C273 is about 2000 million light years away from earth. A Quasars are a class of
active galaxy being the most luminous of all active galaxies and are amongst the most distant
astronomical objects observed.
A Quasar (quasi-stellar-object) has a very large red shift. It is not only a radio source
but a X-ray source as well. It is thought that a Black Hole at the center powers the Quasar.

This image taken from the Einstein X-ray observatory shows Quasar QSO some
10,000 million light years from earth as indicated by its redshift. It lies
slightly to the north and west of 3C273
