Donaghadee's Bus Trips have been gaining in stature year by year and more importantly week by week and are beginning to reach legendary status. People have even been known to return home from other countries to enjoy the unique atmosphere of these 'Big Days Out' and numbers on the bus are steadily on the increase. We even had the Larne player/ coach, Mark (Slicky) Roberts with us after our game together! Our only gripe is that teams are departing from our leagues (upwards and downwards) and our chances for bus trips are getting fewer and fewer! There are however, new trips every year to new clubs and the tradition certainly looks like remaining! Thanks for these trips has to go to the team managers and organisers of the buses, the players and coaching staff for allowing the supporters to share their bus and to the supporters for their continued support and respect for the players on the outward journey. These days are only feasible because of the fantastic support the club gives its teams throughout the club and I'm sure I speak for all players when I say that their support is greatly valued and appreciated and a great 16th man when that extra bit of encouragement is needed.
Larne Bus Trip - Saturday 7th October 2000

An apprehensive (sleepy?) Noel Angus on the way to the game!

Nervous pre-match walkabout for Kurt Courtney and David McMinn

Donaghadee supporters enjoying drinks in the Larne clubhouse prior to kick off

More supporters arriving at Larne, a trait that Donaghadee supporters excel at!

The drink is well and truly flowing as the bus leaves Larne and a heavy night is forecast! (Noel seems a little more perky now also!)

'Hooray' Clay (the sheep stealing) Gallagher doing the rounds as the booze starts to kick in!

Will (This is my third black eye in three games) Hopes feels no pain now from the shiner his team mate, Gareth Smyth, gave him in todays game!

David and Kurt seem less nervous now! I wonder why? (There's no handle there Mickey!) Gareth stills looks worried that Hopesy might want some revenge!!
