Many women contribute to
women's news:

reports on what is happening in their group or their community, reviews of events or books, analytical articles on issues of interest to feminists, creative writing, cartoons, photographs...  the possibilities are endless.

We cannot promise to publish everything sent to us, but we will always consider your contributions.

We are a feminist collective which produces a magazine to  provide a forum for communication between women, for women.
We welcome articles and letters on any issue or current affairs written by women and/or women's organisations from all communities, but we cannot guarantee publication.  The contents of women's news do not necessarily reflect the view of the collective, but we reserve the right to edit articles, incollaboration with the author.  We will not accept items which are sexist, racist, sectarian or homophobic or which contain personal attacks on individual women.
If requested we will withold names and addresses of contributors to the paper but will not publish anonymously penned articles or letters.
If there is anything in the paper which you disagree with, or want to reinforce, feel free to use our letters page to express your views on the matter.
Try and limit articles to 700, as we can't afford extra pages!
