Payment

Payment can be made by credit card through http://vinyld.gemm.com

Cash payments can be made in UK  pounds (Sterling) or US dollars by registered mail

If you decide to send a cheque it must be made payable to Peter Cummings. For those wishing to send a cheque in their own currency (i.e. not UK pounds) the equivalent of 3 pounds must be added to the total to cover bank fees. This is the only way I can accept personal cheques from abroad.

UK Postage

All items are sent by first class post unless otherwise requested.

International postage from the UK

When sending packages outside the UK a customs form must be filled in. On this form it requires me to tick GIFT or MERCHANDISE. I always tick GIFT unless otherwise requested. The reason I do this is because some countries, like the UK, can open a package and if they wish charge an import tax on the value of its contents if it has been sent as MERCHANDISE. This has happened to packages sent to me on several occasions.

Airmail small packet - the most requested and least expensive method of airmail shipping

Surface mail small packet - can take up to 12 weeks

International recorded - this method travels through the normal postal channels and is not available to certain countries (USA, Canada, Saudi Arabia), requires a signature on delivery and has insurance up to £28

International registered - this method is tracked all the way to its destination, use this if you really want the item insured for up to £500, requires signature on delivery

Swiftair small packet - expensive but fast delivery to destinations such as Switzerland and Japan
