One Becomes Two


Divide and conquer
there are no gaps
left for God, says modern man

until computers,
until the new superstition
from ignorance

the new fear.
'You know or you refuse to know'
he said

but could not explain
the loss of one megabyte
somewhere in the cracks.

He ran in fear
of the yellow glow
like they all do,

when they cannot conquer.
