The Portrush Station Clock - Mechanism
'The Tallest Free Standing Grandfather Clock in the World'
A photograph of the clock mechanism shows the maker's name 'Sharman D. Neill' and is dated 1892 on the center wheel. The pendulum is some 44" long and weighs 14lbs. The going weight is 40lbs. The movement has maintaining power from winding using a lever on the left of the center wheel.

The clock stands 17.5ft tall with a 3ft diameter face front and back. It has an eight day mechanical movement with a single weight that is wound from the face. The movement and wooden case has been fully restored.
As far as I know this is the largest free standing antique grandfather clock in the world
