HILLSBOROUGH PARISH CHURCH

is seeking an ORGANIST/DIRECTOR OF MUSIC who will
·	maintain and develop our strong tradition of choral music, which includes choral evensong.
·	be involved with two Sunday services, rehearsals and occasional services.
·	be able and willing to help us develop in contemporary styles of worship.
·	be keen to be part of a team, and will share our Christian faith.

Hillsborough Parish Church has a mixed robed choir, and a three-manual Snetzler organ, as well as a praise band. Salary to be agreed.

St Ignatius Church, Parish of Carryduff. Due to retirement, the post of Organist and Choirmaster/mistress will become vacant early in 2007. The Select Vestry wishes to appoint a person who will maintain the good musical tradition of this church, and who will promote good congregational singing of the hymns, psalms and canticles. Traditional worship; a dedicated and supportive 4-part robed choir (including choristers) affiliated to RSCM. The flourishing Junior Choir is trained by an assistant. Deputy Organist available. The post of Organist/Director of Music in St Finnian’s Church, Cregagh will shortly become available. The appointee will liaise with Canon Noel Battye in the selection of music and conduct choir practice. The two manual pipe organ supplied by JJ Binns & co in 1959 was extensively refurbished in 2003 by Philip Prosser and Son.
