About the School

Expression International Language School

It is the first purposely built private language school in Northern Ireland. Situated on the shores of Carlingford Lough, at the foot of the Mourne Mountains, 500 metres from the lovely village of Rostrevor, next to Kilbroney Park.

The school was founded in 1986 and has been attracting groups from Spain, France and Germany for language courses.

In 1994 Expression International started operations as a Tour Operator specialising in Specific Interest Tours in Northern Ireland on the following subjects:

culture - music - politics - religion

Expression International has established a very reliable base in the community and a wide network of contacts all over the province.

The Organiser

Madame Catherine Bescond-Sands has been organising language courses in Rostrevor since 1986. A native of France and a language graduate of Caen University, she has been living and working in this area since 1977. Her great knowledge of the local area, customs and people doubled with a personal knowledge of the difficulties involved in learning a new language and adapting to a foreign country make her an ideal organiser.
